Bad (performance problems in JA)

In MP my computer constantly freezes. I've tried Catalyst 3.7 and 3.6 drivers. With the 3.7 drivers the game freezes when map changes. So I downgraded to 3.6. Game still freezes but only does so during game play and not map change. Also in both driver versions frame rates drop to 5-10 fps when theres alot of action on the screen sucj as alot of force powers being iused at one time with alot of players on screen. This happens even with all graphic settings set to the lowest possible settings in the game.Even the adapter settings in control panel are set to the lowest. No aa. No Vsync. No af.No true form. Set for performance.I have a 9700PRO,2800+athlonXP,512megs of corsair xms PC3200 ram, winXP. No reason to be running this bad as far as frame rates are concerned and having to lower all graphics down to nothing and still have bad frame rates.Hope they can fix this soon. I can barely play 5-10mins at a time then the game freezes the whole computer and I have to restart. No its not an illegal copy.

I'm still using Catalyst 3.4 drivers on my Radeon 9700 Pro...and I didn't have half-way near as many problems as other ATI users. Try downgrading a bit further to 3.4 and see if that helps.

ATI really need to get some clue about making solid drivers to support games across the board. I'm getting terrible graphical glitches in lithtech-based games like NOLF2 and Tron 2... You upgrade to new drivers, and you 'break' another game that was working...

I have similar problems with my ati radeon 9700 Pro with catalyst 3.7. My screen doesnt freeze, i can play the game fully only there are graphical glitches all the time, whenever there is a light in the game, when you move for a second all the screen will turn to the color of the light in the game. It's annoying...this is my first game to go crazy though on my ati card.

I must say I am glad I bought the ati radeon pro though...when the drivers are programmed correctly...its capabilites are faaaaar more than any nvidia on the market. I saw some tests and made some tests myself at college...ATI rules the videomarket.

Let's all hope their drivers will be stable enough very soon to let us enjoy the superiour hardware quality of ati cards!
