Assuming that many of you here still go to school, do homework, and all that wonderful stuff, I was wondering whether you agree with this study. How many hours of homework a night do you have (not counting slacking off and procrastination hours, only ACTUAL doing-homework time)?

I think classes need to be more discussion oriented rather than...do these problems...right wrong right wrong etc etc. You learn more from debating and discussion. You dont even need gigantic text books for it either.

What makes me mad is seeing little high school kids...small ones at that (barely over 125lbs) carrying 500 lb packs...its ridiculous. With this going on, imagine the back problems for when they get older.

In my school we do do alot of debating and barley ever touch the books infact I dont think Ive looked inside my chem book more then once this year

I barley ever have homework because I either get it done in class that day or the next time we have class

hmm, must be a new thing...I havent been in HS for two years now. Take AP classes though...even though they are "college level" classes....they are deffinately NOT taught the way most college classes are. AP is just a high school level class times 100. College classes are just totally different and in their own category (there can be exceptions)
