Dagobahn Eagle
Friends are like clouds. Don’t feel bad when losing a friend. For friends are like clouds: You’ll look at a beutiful morning sky and know you’ll never see it again. But you do not grieve; for you know that somewhere, sometime, you’ll see about the same cloud formation. The same colours, the same shapes, the same beauty. Friends are like that. Don’t grieve that you’ve lost a friend; be happy you got to know him or her in the first place. For somewhere, sometime, you’ll see the same smile, the same eyes, the same laughter, the same attitude, the same traits. You’ve lost your friend. But you will meet someone else, and recognize a familiarity. And you will go “that’s where you went, old friend. Good to see you again”. So when you lose a friend, start looking forward to meeting him again. What do you think? -Øyvind Any time. Whenever you need to talk. I know what it's like now. FunClown
If that were true, I would be a lot happier. Always sad to lose a friend. But yes, it was better to know them in the first place.

ShockV1.89
That's partially true. But there are some friends who just add to your life a certain something that nobody else could. There's just something about them that makes them stand out from the rest of the friends. I dont think those friends are "clouds in the sky." More like shooting stars... Homuncul
Friends make us better. I don't remember if I ever stopped getting better after I joined this place. I agree with you Eagle, our friends are always with us, no matter what.

Master_Keralys
Friendship is deeper than almost any other relationship in the world. It is friends who carry you throu your hardes times, who keep you goijng when you want to quit. Without friends, I think most people would just give up and die. So, well said. Darth Eggplant
A cloud is a most beautiful sight, it is soft and fluffy and mostly white. Clouds being majestic, having grace, they defy gravity; and hang in space. A cloud; it is most versatile, I look at them and I do smile. And think how beautiful it would be, to plant a cloud just like a tree; to have it here on Earth with me, to cherish for eternity. Yet as I sit here gazing skyward I do bet, a cloud up there would want a pet; a pet to be one of a kind, the cloud would choose one of Mankind. One day a cloud will come, to this World of men Doomed to Die; to take away a friend. I will go with it, Cloud and I will fly.
Darth Eggplant
Friendship. No more satisfying word is in the dictionary; to encompass the Warmth and Beauty of Being Someone's Friend. To Laugh to Cry, to share all the Good Times and all the Bad. No greater Gift can you give someone no Honour higher can you receive in payment or service or pleasure; or Love. The Bond of Love between two or more people, the Commitment and the Caring: the Knowledge that Man still does have Hope; if he can still have Friends. To Share that Hope with, to keep that Dream Alive.
