Yeah, my first map in a while - What do you think? (WIP)

Ok, and now for the opinions. I am debating on whether a) to keep the lights or not where the corner of the map is (the second shot is the best compare/contrast, with the left illuminated, and the right not), and if I keep the illumination, to whether I should brighten or dim it.

 

Also, should I put a ship in the middle area, or keep it open for the duel fights?

 

There will be boxes up in the corners, and there will also be 4 elevators to reach the second level for fighting. I was thinking of calling this "Vjun Outpost", although I am open for suggestions for everything, including the name. Keep in mind this isn't finished yet - Models and boxes need to be added.

 

Anyway, thoughts welcome.

I like the lighted corner as it is.

 

Keep the area open for duels, and put crates and extras in the corners, to look like its some sort of loading bay.

 

Doesn't look like Vjun at all. It looks more civilian than militaristic to me, it could be a loading dock in some city, or anything, really.

It's been shelved for a bit, due to some framerate issues.

 

However, I envision this now to be a part of a project I am working on right now, which is the city of Coronet at night, pieces of this may factor into it.

 

I would look more for a release around the summer.
