Guest KansasNavy
For anybody who's played MP as the Rebels and/or Imperials, what are the kinds of units you can get? What is the tech tree like?
darthfergie
Big tech tree even for a game that goes to tech 3. I've only played Imps... AA units-- Mobile AA --- AA tower Troops-- Darktrooper----Trooper/Hvy. Trooper----Grenadeir---AA Trooper Got to go...
Eets
I played rebels twice. it's same tech tree, cept different looking units, like R2s are workers, Jedi Knights steada sith, and z95's instead of ties, etc...
Guest Darth_Venage
its a cool tech tree. There are quite a few 'race-specific' techs, so it looks to be very in-depth
Dagobahn Eagle
Yeah, it's cool, I agree on that . The AT-AAs look so much better than their FoCom counterparts, altough the artillery unit is the best so far! The skeleton AT-PTs look cool too! The only bad thing is that I can't get the AT-AT in the demo, as it is in tech level four.. I also miss a BG version of the AoK Petards and Demolition ships (suicide units that exploded on contact with the enemy). There actually is a kamikaze fighter in Star Wars, the Class IV Experimental TIE Fighter. Robotic, and designed to run into enemy cap ships and freighters. Appear in the X-Wing Alliance game. Really, I miss kamikaze units, you should be able to train kamikaze pilots at the Airfield (the TF could be the civilisation with these units, as they're only droids anyway. Think about that, Kamikaze droids.. *drools*) Tech tree: Hit the tech-tree button before starting an MP game (at the screen where you select civ and such), or press F2 ingame. Also, F10 is the menu and F11 displays game speed/difficulty. I'm in the midst of a missionary crusade, teaching everyone the keyboard shortcuts I know Dagobahn Eagle
