You should be able to select Light Side or Dark Side from the Player Configuration screen that appears when you join a game. If you can't select it, I'm not sure what the problem would be. I would recommend trying to alter your 'side' in the jampconfig.cfg file by opening it in Wordpad. However, I'm not sure which specific option dictates your Force path. There is a setting for the Force powers... seta forcepowers ... so perhaps by altering that, you could gain access to Dark Side powers. Have you tried uninstalling, rebooting, and reinstalling the game? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Additionally, they might (this would be stupid, but it could happen) have disabled ALL darkside powers. But even then you should still be able to create a Darkside character with neutral powers, so that probably isn't it. Yes, check your profile and your controls...
