Anyway, I was wondering if anyone here knows how to make rollover images for webpages in ImagReady. If you know how please post instructions/link to a turial below. TheJackal Posted October 26, 2003 Share Posted October 26, 2003 You need to use ImageReady for that. I hope that you are familiar with Photoshop because if you are, ImageReady will be easy to learn. First you should have your default button on your screen (hide the layers to the modified state of the rollover) Now open the Rollover window. If you dont have it go 'Window-->Rollover' that opens up a menu somewhere on your screen. It looks like your 'layers' window By default you have one thing in that menu. (if you didnt play around with the slices that is) It should be named 'Normal' now make sure the 'normal' rollover is selected and then click the arrow at the top right of that menu. then click 'new rollover state' ... okay. i gotta stop here. it might take me too much time to perfectly reply to this with just text. I know how to save it to get the html document and how to add rollover states already but there is one thing I don't get. I can't figure out how to edit the pictures used for each state. I have already created the over and down images and I would like to use those but I can't fu=igure out how to do it. Any help in this area would be greatly appreciated. TheJackal Posted October 27, 2003 Share Posted October 27, 2003 make sure that in the normal state you have the proper layers visible and the rest not shown. when you click (make sure its selected) on the rollover state in the rollover window, you can adjust what you need/want for the effect. to make sure it works, click back and forth the normal and rollover state in the window. if all works well you should see the difference in the image's window.
