Can you be a border line jedi

My question is this, is it possible to be a "neatral" jedi? Can you use dark and light powers in equal measure in the game? Any response would be appreciated.

I personally think there is, and I very much pespect KOTOR for broaching the subject with Jolee. the Jedi order and the sith are extremist organisations, there has to be a middle ground. Dont get me wrong I understand that the drakside sucks people in but there are rare individuals who can walk the middle path and not ne forced to one of the extremes:D

Here's a quote from IGN:

Tip 1: Choose which side of the Force you wish to end up on at the end of the game. There are two big endings, depending on how you finish the game. There are benefits for choosing a side early (as we'll discuss below). While you can play a more neutral character, there is no neutral ending, and in the end you will have to make a choice for either Light or Dark Side anyway. Choose your Side during character creation and play that way as often as you feel comfortable. It's okay to occasional do something "bad" on the Light Side or "good" when trying to play Dark Side, just make sure you lean one way or the other the majority of the game.

 

So I think you can play neutral, but you will eventually choose a path by your actions and choices. So playing neutral is a dangerous path.

The only problem with playing neutral is you aren't fully strong in either side. For instance, the further light you are the less the light force powers cost(force points) meaning the more you can use them. Vice versa for Dark powers. When your in the middle you don't get those alignment bonuses.
