Darth Eggplant
I saw Revolutions today, the CD should have been out yesterday, they pushed back the release date by a week, I want to give a very brief review of sorts for fans out there. I own all matrix music albums. Matrix OST & Matrix OSC, Matrix Reloaded (which is both OSC and OST), and the Animatrix CD. and so far personally the only tracks I found objectionable were tracks 11 & 12 of the Animatrix OST. (these 2 tracks were sonic sodomizations of my soul) anyhow Matrix Musak is not all created equal and just because you like one album does not mena you'll like all of them. now many of you out there do not normally collect soundtracks. the Matrix's OST might be the very first or only OST you own. Now the matrix OST is an amazing Cyber Punk album. and many love it. because it's fast and furious and just ever so cool. now many out there have the OST for the Matrix but not the OSC, because OSC's & OST's are seperate creatures all together. when Reloaded came out they offered as a joint package, two disc's, the OST & the OSC, and the second disc the OSC might not be every matrix's fans cup of tea. (which is okay) however not all loved the Reloaded album as much as the matrix Album, I have talked to some serious matrix fans who did not like Reloaded the album so much. Reloaded had more Ambiance to it. As such I think if you did not like Reloaded the album, you most likely won't like Revolutions, which is more ambiant music, it is a film score by Don Davis and Juno Reactor, it is comprised of music not songs. Rob D is missing from this venture, I like Rob D, however I was plenty happy with the Revolutions score and look forward to adding it to my collection. I doo feel a couple of sceens in Revolutions could have used a touch of the matrix original soundtrack, but all the same I liked Matrix Revolutions music. so if peeps out there don't care for it, that's okay, no need to flame them, or have a hissy fit. Rogue15
Juno Reactor and Paul Oakenfold are my favorites.
