LordZeratul
I'm getting this weird error where I insert the JA CD1. I insert the CD and my computer recognizes it (as in I can go to My Computer and look at the icon for the CD - ROM driver, and it shows up as "Jedi Academy1") and runs the autorun, but the game itself doesn't recognize it. So whenever the main menu pops up on the CD autorun and I click on "Single Player Game" or "Multiplayer Game", it tells me to "Insert CD 1". I tried updating the game, but it still doesn't work. Can somebody PLEASE help me out here?
Sam Fisher
Well, you should be able to run MP without the CD anyways. Maybe try using the other disc.
TK_Nutritious
is it a burned cd?
Quillan
Is your drive a CD burner? I have had other games where a CD-R or RW drive can't read through the copy protection on the disc, and keep getting that error. I have a straight CD-ROM drive as a secondary in my computer for that reason.
Crow_Nest
I had the "insert disk 1" problem before. I had 2 drives, i tried both but couldnt work. I removed one of the drives (The first one on top) and everything worked fine. If you have 2 drives, did you try both? If not, your drive is most likey to be damaged. If you have a spare drive, replace it with your old one and try again. Another reason is by using the no-cd patch. You will get this error after sometime.
