SpaceButler14
I've played through the game just fine up until deck 2 on the Star Forge. Does anyone else have significant problems with the infinite spawning enemies here? I couldn't get past them after many many tries and had to cheat. Sometimes my party would get strung out, but if that didn't happen, no one made it very far and I'd have to kill about 5 guys per 2 meters. My character is a level 20 scout guardian and I had Jolee and Juhani with me at level 18 or 19 I think. There have been times when each character's been going about 4/1. I beat Malak fairly easily at the end, so I can't just be horrible at this game, right?
Sakone
Hey there Your not the only person who has had to reload on the Star Forge because of the enemies spawning left, right & centre Though I have to confess, I've never had to resort to cheating in this game. Its a REAL pain when one of your party gets left behind tackling a bunch of enemies all by themselves...
eidospsogos
yeah i found this somewhat annoying too. i mean it would make sense that their would be alot of enemies here. but i hated that you would be leaving an area that you knew you had just completely cleared, from the only entrance or exit to the area, and yet you'd make it about 3 ft before turning around to see 7 more enemies running out of the room you had just killed EVERYONE in. it was a little perturbing when it became obvious that it was merely re-spawning. they could have at least had logical places for them to re-spawn from. Syzerian
are you talking about the droids or jedi? the jedi stop coming after you killed sabout 50 of them but the driods you have to deactivate with the computers i used jolee and carth its good having carth atacking in the background my strategy was just attack wave and saberthrow then heal
wanting_info
im sure kill droid would come in handy since it hits multiple enemies. i havent quite gotten there (im right where i talk to bastilla at the temple and im darkside) but since all my jedi have kill droid im sure it wont be as hard. Syzerian
yeah i spammed kill droid like crazy then i got up to the droids its fun watching 3 of em blow up in 2 hits:D (lots of carnage)
Venom750
I also found it very hard on the star forge but i saved alot and to deal with droids i made own droids from the generaters but an easy way is to just bash open the door and go directly to the final fight with Malak. eidospsogos
uhm , the droids thing is more a strategy section of this particular area than random carnage. but when he said deck 2, i imagine he meant jedi and sith troopers. as for the droids, you have alot less to worry about if you reprogram the computers to program droids to help you. then it will blow up and stop producing droids. but only after it has given you an extra ally. you can endup with what 5-7 droids doing your bidding. SpaceButler14
I meant the dark jedi and trooper area. They stop coming? After around 30 or so I just tried to run for the door. The sad part was that I go to those 3 dark jedi with my party fairly close and then thanks to the spawning i had 7 just on my main character. I couldn't heal fast enough to get more than 2 hits....... I guess I'll replay that and just wait for the end of it then.
Venom750
OH... Heres a tip then try to get the star forge robes they help alot but you need 26 spikes to get them. If you DS they put some on your attributes and give you 1 regenration point and if your LS it up your attributes alot.
eidospsogos
the star forge robes cannot be used if you are darkside. they are lightside restricted. they give saving throws all +2 defense bonus 5 and wisdom +5. if you are darkside you do not get the option of the starforge robes. you will get revan's robes instead. they are dark side restricted, have a defense bonus of 5 strength +4 and regeneration 1. and how many spikes it takes to get them will depend solely on your computer skill. but either one would help. Venom750
Revan's robes and the star forge robes are the same robes they are both created on the star forge it tell you on the back story that come with the robes.
eidospsogos
well i wouldn't eaxactly call them the same robes. but i understand what you're saying. you do get them in the same place.
lukeiamyourdad
O came up with a party strategy that's pretty succesful up-to-date. At least it was pretty fine at my last two Star Forge runs... If you're playing as a consular, don't bother to bring Jolee, bring Juhani(if she's available) but depending on how you play it, Bastila should do fine too. Just remember to bring either Carth or Canderous(also depending on how you play it out but if you're a lightsider either character is good). Put him as Grenadier, put Juhani or Bastila as Default attack and you as Jedi Support(ok eidospsogos you can flame me for mentionning Jedi Support ). If you're playing either a sentinel, depending on what your force powers are, bring either Jolee or Juhani. If you're into offensive forcepowers, bring Juhani and put yourself into the role of Jedi Support. If you're into Stat enhancing forcepowers, bring along Jolee. Again bring one ranged character. If you're playing as a Guardian, Jolee is your best bet, you take the punishment while he stays behind to heal you. Again bring one ranged character. If you're stuck being the only Jedi left in your entire party, you're in big trouble but still, it's doable. Arm yourself with a blaster if you're a dark side consular(and you decide not to join Bastila) and try taking out enemies from afar. One thing, FORCE WAVE. Nothing is better then Force wave if you're surrounded by enemies, whether you're a guardian or a consular, Force wave is your best friend on the Star Forge. eidospsogos
sounds pretty good to me. the only way i have played through so far though leaves bastiila completely out of reach. i have yet to be able to do darkside. but i'm starting a new game just for that purpose. and i just must keep reminding myself that it's only a game. and so i can ignore ethical issues. and i'll ignore the jedi support part of the strategy.
