End of Game Light Side *SPOILER*

Anyone playing through the end of the game find it a little disheartening that you cannot turn Bastilla back to the force?

I know it would not have made sense in the end in that you have to face Malik alone. But, the whole plot is about redemption, and as Bastila was such a key part of the game I found it a disappointment that you could not bring her back to the light. Especially cause as soon as she went to fight Malik alone you knew he would turn her.

 

Maybe it had to do with my character and his lack of intelligence or wisdom. But I am guessing that its not possible to do so because the quest log said simply it could not be done.

 

Seems like Bioware carved up some of the plot to allow for a 'better' gaming experience. But overall I found it rather disappointing.

she does come back to the light

you fight her about 5 times then you tell her that the light side is more powerfull and she believes you and comes back

yeah, you just have to talk her into it in between the fights save beforehand ...dont pick the 'YOU MUST DIE SITH SCUM' conversation options (sorry..I'm being a sarcastic snit...but I'm feeling cheeky )

Or just simply tell her you love her. That is only if you went through with the romance quest

If you have swapped spit with her, then you have played your dialogue choices well and should be good to go. If you are at least friends with other uncomfortable feelings, you should be able to tell her you love her.

 

How does it work from the female side though? I won't find out this time as I needed to take a female for Dark Side.

turning her back to the lightside is always a possibility. you just have to pick the right dialogue options.

you dont even need to go through the romance quest. I didnt with my one char, and i love you was an option. It was a little funky.
