Singu
I found the outbursts of Zaalbar to be the most hurting since he rarely spoke up at all. His high growl woke me up from my slow descent into darkness after I did a hideous act of evil. He was also the character who made me feel really bad when I told my crew of my darkside ambitions. Have anyone tried to do DS feats with T3 in their party? If so does he have an emotional chip?
-NGE-
T3 just goes beep boop no matter what. I found it particularly funny when I was using T3 to escape the leviathan, and i spoke to the rodian prisoner. My only conversation options were beep boop etc etc

In fact, I've gotten far more enjoyment out of playing LS. And I also went Light first (and third, as I am now on my third game). I much prefer to see Good triumph over Wicked, Icky, Naughtiness ( bonus points to anyone who can identify that character and comic). In will give the bad guys this, though. They may not be cooler, more powerful, or better than the good guys, but they do have better taste in fashion. , Oh, yeah, and my dreams can get a little twisted. That morning, that was the last thing I said in my dream right before I woke up. I was left thinking, "Damn! I wish I could remember the rest of it! It must have been really something." Nope, not even close. I will give a clue: "Moving the World, one schlep at a time." If that doesn't help, I will give another clue in a day or two. Master William
I just borrowed KOTOR from a friend, and so far, I've chosen to be cruel and dark. I collected three bounties, and got 900 credits for it. My position in economy is great for the moment, and I am heading off from Taris right now. Drakonsfyre
Hey all, first post here. I have almost finished my DS play through of the game, and despite being 17, I find a surprising number of the choices to be hard, mostly the little stuff, like robbing that lady on Tatooine or the elderly man on Taris. On the other hand, whats more fun (and deliciously evil) than covincing a gaurd to run off and get shot for deserting by his commander? Also fun is turning Zaalbar into a resentful Xenophobe ^_^ or making Mission loathe her brother and callously tell him that he's dead to her Which leads me to my question, is there a way to turn Juhani and Carth to the dark side? I know Malaak does Bastila for you, and as I said, Mission and Zaalbar can be if not turned, at least twisted Canderous and HK are already there, and Jolee is probably impossible, but it seems to me you can get Carth and Juhani pretty far gone by getting Carth to love you, and Juhani to go berserk and kill that Twilek Anybody got some info on this? Cause thats what I like most about the DS, turning your companions and dragging them into your own twisted descent :dev6: Thanks in advance
eidospsogos
no. carth: if you are female, carth will merely promise to save you, and attempt to on the star forge. otherwise, he runs away when you reveal your darkside tendencies, as will mission and zaalbar if you attempt to have him kill her. juhani: though you may goad her into killing the twi'lek, who was originally supposed to be a human, if you couldn't tell by his alien-hating dialogue, she will simply call it a msitake, and remain as devoted to the ideals of the light as ever. overall: the only one who ever turns is bastila. canderous was already there, as was hk-47. and ole t3-m4 just doesn't really give a d@mn. so to answer your question, no. lil_dude
i like a mix of Dark and Light, i was going to go for the Dark Side and i was even pretty far down in the Dark/Light meter but when it came time..... to join Bastila on the Dark Side i couldn't face to kill Jolee, who told me that i'd have to fight him, i used him and Canderous the most and never wanted to kill them, it's just a game but the charecters are very real and get to you after awhile
Reborn Outcast
Wow this was just the tread I was about to post. I am 15 years old, so I don't know if I should be posting in this thread. But here's my two cents. I just now finished the game being a pure, Light Side Master and it was awesome. I found myself growing closer to all the characters and when I finished the game, it felt like I was closing a very good book after reading it for 30+ hours. All throughout the game, everytime I would mistakenly get dark side points, I would find myself loading and doing the same conversation or action over again just to get the light side points. So, about and hour ago I started the game over, and was trying to start down the dark side path, and I found myself not able to do so from the very beginning. Maybe it was because I had already beaten the game with the light side and I was still attached to the characters. Maybe its just my morals, and finding myself robbing a defenseless man, taking money from the medical man in return for my silence, making fun of the janitor or Killing Diu in her apartment. just threw me for a loop. But whatever it was, I found that I could not, and would not start down the darkside path, even though it was only an hour into the game and even though living the way I want in Star Wars has always been a fantasy of mine. I found myself wanting to even do the light side over again, and complete the game just the way I had before. Maybe I'll return to the game in about a week and be able to complete the dark side, but I know that somehow, or someway I'll always have pants of regret. And right now, even though I had only done two things to gain darkside experience, I find myself filled with guilt. Never in my life have I found a game that could bring these types of moral feelings out, so much so that it affects my decision to play "the other half of the game." I found myself attached to the characters, something that JO or any other game has never done for me, and not wanting them to die or to kill them. That's what makes this game amazingly special, and in my opinion, there can never be a duplication of a game this amazing that brings this type of emotion to people ALL OVER THE WORLD. Drakonsfyre
Ah well, there goes any hope I had of that Juhani/Bastila/Female Revan darkside trio Thanks for answering anyway I just finished my strait darkside playthrough, the first time I started lightside, but when "the plot twist" (if you beat KOTOR, you know) happens, I started slipping and ended up darkside. This game is probably the only RPG, and I am a great fan of those, that I have ever been able to IMMEDIATLY go back to and play over, so don't take me wrong at all, but I would love to have been able to see a big differance in a strait darkside playthrough, as opposed to a kind of waffely round-about one, things like being able to corrupt your fellow adventurers and stuff would have been awesome. Still, all in all, awesome game, the only one I have EVER played that made the Darkside ( or whatever it is called in the world you are playing in) seem like, well, actually the Darkside, and not just randomly killing a couple villagers. GG Bioware and LucasArts and lets see KOTOR 2 ASAP!
Bastilla'sMan
What, no more guesses, yet? OK, I'll give you another clue. The character I'm thinking of uses lots and lots of Duct Tape. And, no, it's not MacGuiver.
