(with info shown or not) 2) Where do they go when they are taken? 3) Are you sick of this question? Thanks in advance, BB™

And what file is a .tga? 1. A screenshot takes a picture of the game together with your HUD. While levelshot removes your HUD. 2. Well i wouldnt recommend taking a screenshot.tga, .jpg is much better. Takes up less space too.
Andy867 Posted January 23, 2004 Posted January 23, 2004 Also, when considering to use screenshots, i fyou dont want the HUD and health to appear, etc, you can type cg_draw2d 0 in the console and it will make it disappear, and to make your gun disappear for first person screenshots, you can type cg_drawgun 0 also, to prevent the text at the top that says writing screenshot/shot0001.jpg or whatever, you must a bind a key in this fashion: bind [key] screenshot silent where you put a specified key designation in without the [ ]
BawBag™ Posted January 29, 2004 Author Posted January 29, 2004 Thanks again guys. I got some nice screenies. I didn't realise there wa an automatic overwrite of screenies. No matter - I pop them into sub-folders within the screenshots folder.
Andy867 Posted January 29, 2004 Posted January 29, 2004 The only way for an automic overwrite is with the Demo... The version bought for the store allows for pictures to be detected and compensated as to prevent overwriting.
