Marcus(JSA)
I am currently setting the admin controls available for my Council and Knights because I have strong resignations about some of the options available, especially banning which I choose to retain for RCon only and hope not to use too often. I am using a Bitrate Calculator and would like someone to explain the following please, to help me allocate the controls: /amOrigin /amWhoIs /amVstr (mostly unsure of ) Thanks! Kurgan
Okay well next time say so, there are so many admin mods out there it's hard to know which one you mean. Incidentally I have seen a LOT of questions about JA+ Mod posted on here lately. Doesn't Slider have an email address or forum to field questions about his mod? I mean no offense, but this isn't the "Official JA+Mod Questions Forum." ; )
slider
u will find a lot of help in the official forum here http://japlus.fragism.com/ moreover, your question may be already asked in the FAQ or the forum use the search function in the forum but /amvstr work like that amvstr can execute a variable already defined in the server.cfg for example: put in your server.cfg ==> seta test_vstr " d_saberSPStyleDamage 1 ; jp_alterDMG 0 " restart your server then log in as an admin, then type into the console /amvstr test_vstr =====> it will execute d_saberSPStyleDamage 1 then jp_alterDMG 0 this cmd is ideal to create macro variable that u can use to change quickely dynamically the cvar value But the previous value keep the same in the server.cfg so if you restart the server, it will load the previous value of the server.Cfg
Marcus(JSA)
Thanks for the help Slider! Using admin is a piece of pizz once you get to know the commands and their intention rather than being told just programming jargon and random numbers which are just confusing! Thanks for the clear explaination!
