It uses the same hit detection boxes and stats as all the other base JA skins. He has no special powers or abilities and he isn't the only "secret skin" in the game. How do I know this? Two Raven developers have publically stated that ALL base JA models (including the Jawa) use the "bounding box" of Kyle. The fact that the Jawa lacks a unique taunt and profile/winner icon is no big deal. Most of the "secret skins" don't have these either. But a few people used to think the Jawa was "bugged" because it had a cloak, something no other base JA skin has. But it's an illusion, the cloak doesn't make the hit detection box any bigger or smaller, it's the same as any other character. I mean you can see if you hit Tavion's feathers or the holster on somebody's gun belt it won't be counted as a hit, so it's the same principle if you hit the corner of his cloak instead of his body. The only time the Jawa poses any kind of problem (albeit a minor one) is in team games. This is because if both teams have Jawa players you won't as easily see which one is which in the heat of combat. Of course if you have Team Beacon turned on (the icon above your buddies heads) which is on by default you'll be able to tell which ones are on your side. Plus Force Seeing, Radar, saber color and the colored text when you aim at them all give away what team they're on. The "Jawa Skinpacks" you can download add a Red and Blue tinted version of the Jawa for team games (only people with the mod installed see it) as well as a winner/profile icon and taunt sound (taken from the base game). Who really tries to kill somebody by barely scratching the outside of their robes anyway? Again, that's like trying to kill Tavion by trying to hit her feathers or the holster on Han Solo's belt. The Jawa gives NO advantages. It's just a skin. In fact, the JK3files (sp?) server finally admitted their mistake by lifting their previous ban on the Jawa model. The Jawa uses the Kyle Katarn collision detection box, so you're right, just barely nicking the outside of the "cloak" graphic isn't going to hurt him, so just pretend he's kyle and hit his body and he takes damage the same as everybody else.
