edlib Posted March 21, 2004 Posted March 21, 2004 Yeah, but I think that's keeping with the wide/ full-screen color schemes of past SW box sets. When the SE VCR box sets came out they offered them in two different sets, gold and silver depending on full frame pan-and-scan, or letterboxed.
Darth Homer Posted March 21, 2004 Posted March 21, 2004 Yes, I have the vhs SE and if I'm not mistaken I have the widescreen & it is golden it has been sometime since I've hooked up my vcr, much less gotten out any of my tapes, but as I am moving to a new apartment, I'll have to keep my eye out for it

I only know this because I have the WRONG set,.. and it's the gold one. I always go widescreen whenever possible. Why I never got around to exchanging this set when my mom bought it for me I'll never know. I won't make that mistake again with the DVD set,.. I'll tell ya!
