dantooine battle mod

ok folks. v1.0 "the rough draft" is avalibe now on my site.

be sure to check for current version V.10 to make sure your downloading the right one.

 

There is something you need to do when you get this mod. you will need to rename your lev_m40ac.rim to lev_m40xc.rim or something so the mod one can take over. so that you can use the mod thoughtout the game withotu cheating. still may have to warp atleast to ebo_m50 because the transaction from the lev to the ebo is dark not sure how long it stays dark didn't wait to find out. but i know i was on the lev cause i heard th "metal" sound.

so check it out and see if you can go smothly from the lev to ebo.

i saw in the other thread that you got it so you automatically go to your dantooine mod after the leviathan, but just to make sure, since im not at a point in the game where i can check, you still have that really important conversation on with the whole crew on the ebon hawk, right? that conversation is pretty important and can't really be cut, but im pretty sure its gonna have some minor plot holes in it if you don't change that. I'm pretty positive there is a point that you can say something like "we have to go back to dantooine" and someone else on the ship says its to late for them and you can't go back, if that is in that dialogue like i think it is, whether you put that conversation on the ebon hawk before or after your dantooine mod there is gonna be a minor story hole, in that your crew says no we can't go back and you take them there anyway

 

im very aware that you this is the rough draft, and since i haven't played through the game very recently, i dont know how accurate my info is, maybe someone out there has just done the leviathan and can let us know, just thought i would bring that to your attention. i'm really looking forward to playing this mod when it gets fleshed out to its full potential, since these are the kind of mods im waiting for before another time thru the game. rock on!

i have a console in front of the ship's map console. so when you click on it it takes you to the landing sceen. and to get to the ebon hawk you just play the game normaly and at the end of the lev mission level (through the last door) it takes you to the ebon.

 

 

and yes, that story was cut out. no diallog, you just go to the cut sceen of landing and then your there. i had to cut the dialog out because the dialog is automatic you don't talk to anyone about it.

 

and the conversation before you go to the lev is that we can't save bastila, not we can't go back to dantooine.

so wait, what dialogue is it thats cut, is it the dialogue where everyone knows who you are now, and carth doesn't trust you and you poll the rest of the crew, hk's memory is restored, etc? cause i always felt that was a pretty important part of the game. just wondering what dialogue you cut and all, maybe me or someone else on this forum can help you find away around it with out having to cut pieces from the game.

I agree That the ebon hawk dialog should not be deleted that is a VERY important part of the story and without it there could cause many problems if certain globals are set. ofcourse you could set them it with tk102's savegame editor, but you would have to know the globals.

 

I played the latest version danv10.zip and I am a little puzzled why the jedi women are hostile, I mean I had to kill like three of them and when I did they sounded like men. I also thought I read in the other thread that you got the sith ships to show up

:confused: if thats true i didn't see'em and the sith in the training room is still freindly. ok now enough of the critisism :)

 

I have updated the Vandar dialog to meld into the rest of the story a bit better. I just have one thing left to do and i'll send it over. Another thing that could be done is to have sith spawn like they do on the SF at specific points I no this can be done although I haven't had enough time to test it.

 

EDIT: ok ignore what I said about the bugs. I cleared out my override folder and just left what I needed to test the dialog and everything seemed to work the the way you have described. Now I have to figue out what was causeing it to do that. I think that dantooine can be used on the star map after LEV I haven't looked at it yet but I think it is doable I just have to check it out or maybe some script wiz can help out with this. The reason is that I would like to be able to take my crew on to the planet eith me.It will also prevent the story from being cut up. After all the whole point is to enhance and add to the story.

agreed , leave the conversation in , its to imporrtant to just "skip" and say "oh well its not needed i want to fight some Sith"

 

i suggest making it so that you have to physically choose to go back to Dantooine rather then being forced to go there

no, your both mis understanding me...

 

after you fight malak and bastila goes after him. you go through the hanger door. witch leads you to the ebon hawk (removed showing the hanger) once your on the ebon the script activates showing the discusion of you being reven. then you get on with your mission. then click on the temp terminal to go to the cutsceen landing on dantooine. then you do the dantooine battle mod.
