Scummbuddy
I'm not in the mood for a April Fools joke. Not with the cancellation of Sam and Max, and yes, even Full Throttle 2. It may have been a bit funny if everything was fine, and for a joke mixnmojo came up with the cancellation thing, but then the next day, everything would be known and it would have been a laugh... but its not. The truth is that the game is gone, and I don't really care to see what LucasArts unveils at E3 this year. Hopefully it'll be something we can be proud of or something to look forward to, but I doubt it. Not with the trouble the company is in. No one would allow an adventure game to be brought in. They were sitting on a gold mine, of sorts. In relation to what they could have brought out to rekindle the adventure genre, they chose the right one, Sam and Max, it had everything, which has already been discussed, like how you wouldn't need to of played the first one, anyone can relate to them, and the humor is genious. With the recent PC Gamer Top 10 magazine, if you haven't actually held the paper, and seen the detail with bump-mapping and such, you don't understand how good this game looks. I have, which brought up the hype-meter indefinitly. I know I would have payed the 50-some dollars to get this game opening day. But with this cancellation, I'm almost dead inside, when it comes to this genre. It wasn't that there haven't been that many in the past couple years, its that the company I've been depending on for over 15 years, has gone and basically given up on what I grew up with. A similar occurance came when Bill Watterson gave up on Calvin and Hobbes. My life was shattered in that little part of me. But, yes, I'll move on, but I'll still be scarred. LucasArts, put me in charge. I'll bring back your company to the prestigous postion it once held in the gaming market, without any layoffs, and keeping everyone happy, for the good of the company, and for the fans. And MixNMojo, be gentle this coming April Fools.

Exactly how old are you and what qualifications do you hold that will ensure that if put in charge of LA you can do this. I mean, if you could, for a start, you wouldn't be complaining over a computer game and instead aiming to make big buck with your own company. It's not exactly that easy you know.
