Weiser_Cain
Forgive me but I'm a little unclear about the jediknight series. 1 What is the most recent game? 2 What is the most customizeable game? 3 Will there be a new game anytime soon? 4 Is modding supported? 5 What if any max versions are supported? 6 I have the demo for Jdei Academy, It seems to load slow, the tattoie cut scene is jerky and once the cut scene is over the shadows look blocky. Is this just the demo or does the game hate certain setups? I'm running win2k sp4 2.6p4 1gig of ram and a radeon 9600pro driver ver. 6.14.10.6404... Samuel Dravis
1. Jedi Academy. 2. Academy has RPG-lite elements with character selection etc. 3. Unknown. 4. All the JK series games are able to be modded. 5. I assume you mean 3dsmax, and I have no idea. 6. You probably have dynamic glow on. Open the console and type r_dynamicglow 0. topshot
The most recent and most customizable game is Jedi Academy. Modding is supported. Jedi Outcast models and skins will work in Jedi Academy. I dunno if there's going to be a new jedi game anytime soon, so do what the locals do: try KotOR, if your engine can support it. If it can't, then its time to head to Luke's Academy or upgrade the system with latest driver support and stuff like that.

Star Wars Battlefront 4. Yes? 5. huh? 6. Driver 6.14.10.6404? What is it? The latest is Cat4.2 i think, dont know if there are new ones. but your game shouldnt be jerking on a fast comp and a good card like that. Try turing down the shadows to simple (High shadows is default) Originally posted by Weiser_Cain 7 Is this all the races JA comes with? In singleplayer you can turn on timescaling to make it go slower. Generally 70% normal speed is about right (do matrix moves, head shots etc ). You can use it in MP also, but the server has to have it set - so if the server's not yours, then you don't have much luck without rcon capability. Sounds good, well not matrix stuf, I just want it to be more about skill and not frantic running around swinging to save my life(so more like the original trilogy and less like kung fu yoda). Samuel Dravis
You can also turn down run speed, saber swing speed etc with other commands if you don't want the slow motion stuff.
Weiser_Cain
You say commands, does this mean it's not a permanent setting and I'll have to change it every time I play?
Samuel Dravis
You could put all the commands in the autoexec.cfg file in your /base folder. That would execute all of your personal settings every time you run the game, and you wouldn't have to do anything.
