PrivateBlaster
Hi ! Do you know HapSlash's Sand- and Stormtrooper ? I love them, because now the imperial troopers looks like movie. There is a HapSlash's E-11 too. When not : download skins at http://www.lucasfiles.com Well, I had got a problem with HapSlash'S Stormtrooper : When I used this model, there was only the Head from the Trooper. And so I can't play in internet, because so it is like a cheat. If you have this problem too, I found the mistake : You must open the "HapSlash's Stormtrooper.pk3" in "Base" and open "models/players". There is "stormtooper2". Now, rename it to "stormtrooper". Now you can play as FULL Trooper ;-) Note : After that the normal Stormtrooper from Jedi Academy is this new Stormtrooper "2" too, but I think that is not a problem, because the old Trooper is nothing against HapSlash's Stormtrooper :-)0 I had that problem only by Stormtrooper, not by Sandtrooper. Now, have fun with these really cool models Bye, PrivateBlaster

PrivateBlaster
Originally posted by t3rr0r you lost me there... Hum ? It's simple. You must copy the .pk3 in your "Base" folder if you want to play with new models, you know. Now open the "Stormtrooper.pk3" ! There are two folders. "shaders" and "models". Open "models" ! There is a "stormtrooper2" folder. You must rename this "stormtrooper2" folder to "stormtrooper". You must only delete the "2" ! To do that, you must copy the "stormtrooper2" to your desktop. There you can rename it to "stormtrooper" and now copy it in your .pk3 and delete the "stormtrooper2" there. If you now don't understand it, you must go to school

TK-8252
There is no stormtrooper2 directory. There were no bugs either. You probably have conflicting mods in your base folder, or messed around with the Stormtrooper's pk3. BTW, there's now three Stormtroopers at LucasForums! BTW, if you alter the original pk3 file, no one else will be able to see you using that file online.

PrivateBlaster
ok, its good when it already works fine in your jedi academy. but some people can't play without my "operation" only because that i've writen that. but i have got a cool thing for you. i make that self and want to tell you it : i found a way to make you to a imperial person. just creat a .pk3 file in "base" you can give it all names you want. i telled it "imperial_ally.pk3" in that .pk3 you must put in a new folder named "ext_data" in this folder you must creat "npcs". now open "assets1.pk3" in "base". there is a "ext_data" folder, too. open it. there is "npcs" too, open it. for example, you want to have a stormtrooper as ally : copy the stormtrooper.npc in your own "npcs" folder. there you must open it. there are now to different types of stormtroopernpcs. the one is "stormtrooper" and the other one ist "stormtrooper2". Now copy the text of one of these soldiers and rename it to "stormtrooper3". now you must look for : playerTeam TEAM_ENEMY enemyTeam TEAM_PLAYER when i saw that, i thought : playerTeam TEAM_PLAYER must be ally, and i was right. you must rename it to these text : playerTeam TEAM_PLAYER enemyTeam TEAM_ENEMY then the stormtrooper is on your side. you can change there weapons too. for example he should have a sniperrifle : weapon WP_DISRUPTOR etc ! so you can now make a lot of different stormtroopers, you must only rename it to stormtrooper4,stormtrooper5 , etc... then ingame you must load a map with console : "devmap t1_fatal" for example everytime with "devmap" then after maploading you must write : "npc spawn stormtrooper3" and in front of you will spawn a allied stormtrooper. my tipp : write in console : "bind u npc spawn stormtrooper3" now, everytime you press the botton U, there will spawn a trooper in front of you. you can also bind from F1 to F12, so it is easier. i hope i make that game now funnier for you note : you can also make rebels to enemys. i played some minutes ago with some Reborn Sith NPCS against rebel scum Please write what do you think about my idea HAVE FUN ! TK-8252
Or maybe just do: playerteam enemy and save all that work...
Lei Hng Wei
But it's fun watching someone come up with a solution to silly requests. Watch: Instead of allied Troopers, can I spawn allied Howlers? How about a friendly Wampa, Rancor or Sand Creature? Imagine how silly playing SP with pets the size of a bus would be. Now sit back and watch hilarity ensue TK-8252. Durocha
PrivateBlaster, I love your idea! Infact, I love it so much, I've been doing it since I got the game. ... When it came out. But hey, it's pretty cool you found all that for yourself! Just wait until you learn to create all new NPCs. And tweak them to your liking. I like my custom Desann with his custom staff. That's ten feet of kick-ass! (Edit: I'm a grammar nazi ... to myself!)
