JofaGuht
Malls of the Damned is the name of Ballwin, MO. Brand-name places line up across this section of the planet, and it keeps building and building. Like that will do any better. There's a lot of "renovating" which is a commercial road's word for "scraping out independantly own businesses and repainting the whole thing". Trust me, with the amount of repitition that plagues this section of the planet, there is no need of renovation. Crappy is the same as modern in the good ol' Midwest US and its political leader known as Walmart. But I'll stop ranting and start on the angst-releasing. Routine is psychologically bad for a child. Even though toddlers seem to only survive in such lifestyles, it leads to insanity in the end. Trust me. Methods of transportation: airplane, train, automobile, specific entheogens, sleep, and hope. Man I need to lighten up! What's a feel good song I can sing to myself? Aretha Franklin makes me happy, but I don't really know any of her songs. You know that one 50's song that they sung in Mullholland Drive during all the auditions? I hate that song. I loathe it. It gets stuck in your head too. That's the real reason Diane Selwyn killed herself....good movie though. C'mon, help me out here people, what's a happy feel-good song tthat doesn't suck? Try 'When Smokey Sings' by ABC or 'Burn it Up' by the Offspring. Depending.

Alia
Speaking of Holst, try "Jupiter: Bringer of Jollity." Rollicking good time, and I was in fact thinking of it before I read the last post. Mars is not a happy song like Jupiter. Isn't there a little tack shop in Ballwin called the Tack Trunk? I've bought my jackets there for the last three years. Very cute place. Skinkie
Those seem like songs that make you wanna beat your head against a brick wall. As for Fight the Good Fight, since it's an early 80's hair band song, I really doubt it's the same at all.

And that was only the high-priced version of "cute"
Alia
Liar. It IS cute. It's adorable. You just haven't been there or something outrageous. Is the Zany Brainy in Brentwood still open?
Zoom Rabbit
Here is an old english sailor's song, which cheers you up quite properly if you get really drunk, jump up on the table and sing it as loud as you can. Anchors aweigh. Hearts of Oak (Traditional) Come cheer up my lads, 'tis to glory we steer To add something more To this wonderful year To honour we call you, As free men, not slaves For who are so free As the sons of the waves Hearts of oak are our ships Jolly tars are our men We're always at the ready Steady, boys, steady We'll fight and we'll conquer, Again and again Our worthy forefathers, Let's give them a cheer To climates unknown Did courageously steer Through oceans to deserts, For freedom they came And dying, bequeathed us Their freedom and fame Hearts of oak are our ships Jolly tars are our men We're always at the ready Steady, boys, steady We'll fight and we'll conquer, Again and again... Is the Zany Brainy in Brentwood still open? Now Brentwood is actually somewhat cool. Apart from having that Borders that seems extremely robotic, it is the gate to two even cooler places. The U-city Loop and Clayton, MO. It's too bad its like an hour and twenty minutes away. You know there's still a CD Warehouse in South County? That's messed up. Anyway: I found the perfect song, so needn't worry: Fish heads, fish heads, roly poly fish heads. Fish heads, fish heads, eat them up yum!
