Seraphin<ATK>
What program did you download to make the skins? or are you just trying to look at skins on a model?
jp-30
I wrote a comprehensive beginners tutorial. It was at the force.net, but since the site owner did a dirty on me and a bunch of fellow mods, I removed it. I plan to reformat it in the near future and submit it to various sites such as this one as a pdf. In the meantime, it's still viewable at the internet archives; JO skinning tutorial for beginners
Amidala from Chop Shop
jp-30, your tutorial is geat! It taught me everything I needed to know before I did my two skins (I even gave you a credit on my latest one http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=127411). I was disappointed when it disappeared off of that other site. I even grabbed files out of my browser's cache to try and piece it together. Fortunately, I discovered I had saved all of the web pages some time back and had forgotten that I did. And I'm glad that it is still online. All beginning skinners should read jp-30's tutorial! jp-30
Hi, Nice to read you found it useful. As well as being in the web archives, it's still available in its original form in this thread; http://boards.theforce.net/message.asp?topic=8874551 Though some of the images I was hosting are now broken. Anyway, like I said above, soon I'm going to convert it all to a pdf and post it here, at pcgamemods, massassi etc. And thanks for giving me a credit in your readme - I don't think many people who used my tutorial have done that. Your skins look amazing, by the way!
RomulusClone
jp-30, Just had to say that I also loved your tutorial. Yours and [HC]-Exar-Kun's were very informative, very complete, and easy to follow. As for modeling, Psyk0's was great for me. Thanks for your help for us beginners!
