Seraphin<ATK> Posted April 30, 2004 Posted April 30, 2004 http://www.claudec.com/lair_of_shaders/ http://www.gamingforums.com/showthread.php?t=111737 Try these sites for tutorials. You can do it by clipping the brush (press X to start clipper) Then you clip the area you want to remove, and done. It takes to long to explain here but those tuts should help. If not, PM me..
darkfett Posted May 1, 2004 Author Posted May 1, 2004 i want PART of the wall, When i do it it makes the whole wall disapperar!(well part of it)
Codja X Posted May 1, 2004 Posted May 1, 2004 You could just build the wall out of more than one brush and shape them so a hole is created - far more compiler friendly than using csg subtract. Also, if you're using the clipper tool, the area highlighted in red is the area that will be removed
WadeV1589 Posted May 1, 2004 Posted May 1, 2004 Shift+Enter splits the brushes deleting no bits so it doesn't have to delete the bits in red.
darkfett Posted May 1, 2004 Author Posted May 1, 2004 i knw all that i just wanna knw like say in the middle of the wall u wanted a window, (if u can do 1 but i dnt want to)how do u make the hole so u can put a brush there for it?
Jedi_Vogel Posted May 2, 2004 Posted May 2, 2004 RichDiesel is back up by the way... but you simply keep cutting your brush up, creating the shape for your window. Then you deselect all, select your window, make it detail and put a glass texture on one side of it. Voilà a window.
