No.

 

The battles are true to the movies.

 

So for certain planets it is Empire vs Rebels, and others it is Republic vs Separatists.

 

The only 3rd factions on a planet are the computer-controlled Ewoks, Gungans, Jawas, Tusken Raiders, etc., and their alliance will reflect the side they chose in the movies. Apart from the Tuskens, who shoot at anyone and everyone.

 

So on Geonosis, Kamino etc., it's the Republic vs Separatists.

 

For Hoth (and other OT planets) it will be Rebs vs Imps.

yes if they go according to the movies. jsut think about droids trying to take down a at-at.

 

all you hear is sizziling wires and crushing metle and the imps move on ignoring the little flies:)

The game is based on the huge battles in the SW movies probably the expansion will be adding more planets and ep 3 battles.
