Everytime i try and do a vis process it always does this at the beginning

5467 portalclusters

20441 numportals

13034 numfaces

************ ERROR ************

MAX_MAP_VISIBILITY exceeded

 

then it stops

Help???:confused: ???

yeah i missed it... i found some good stuff off google.

Alright i got my map to compile with vis...but it takes like 48 hours to compile the vis (well not completly i stopped after 48 hours)

on the last line it goes u know 1....2.....3.....4.....5....

well 5 took about 20 hours before going to 6

and then i just canceled after six....

and i pretty much detailed almost all the brushes that werent leading outside.....

Any idea's?

 

 

One more thing tho

When i do a light compile. (maybe its cuz of vis) anyways my fps is super low to compare when there is no light compile (talking about the meta compile) like in one place its at 150 on the meta comiplle. and then after the light compile it drops to 30......

How or why is that???...and well more importantly how do i prevent it?

hmm....its not THAT big, its basically like a mansion,there are some MUCH bigger maps out there...there's no planes...only vehicle is a swoop...

hmm i think i had about 3500 brushes if i last remember + or - 100 or 2

 

 

Just want to know, if its cuz of the vis that fps is so much lower with the lighting process. then without it
