Big Problem - can't play online (solved!)

i got a big problem here

i cant play JA online anymore

when i use ase and choose a server , the game starts

but "connecting" screen counts and counts and counts

when i look in the ingame-server browser

no server will show up , not in favorites nor in regular server list

also manual ip joining doesnt work

i de and re-installed the game (and patch 1.01 of course)

but still not work

 

other online games work tho (JKO , bf 1942)

 

can any1 help me ?

i play this game since a year and never had any problems

it just happened out of the blue

 

and its not bcs im in local

the server browser is set to internet

Maybe check your firewall? They've been known to make problems like that.

Firewall or router. Turn off ZoneAlarm or equivalent.

both totally off when i play

as said it happened out of the blue

i played yesterday , then i got out of the game to check some forums

then i wanted to play again and .....

no servers showing up , manually ip dont work and ase also not

 

i can play Jedi Outcast and bf1942

 

only thing i can think of is that for some reason i cant connect to the master server

Firewall + Closed ports = No go. Try searching on Google for the ports you need to open.

problem solved

it seems my router table seemed to be meesed up

i did reset it and set up the same as it was before tho now it works
