Looks like you edited the .git file....Gff editor corrupts the cameras in the .git file. To correct this, you'll need tk102's CAMedit (there is a download link in the Guide for the Newbie Sticky). It'S very easy to use and the whole thing takes 2 minutes max. :)

here is the readme. Looks like TK forgot to add it in the download version at pcgamemods:

Knights of the Old Republic

-------[ CamEdit ]---------

Text-based CameraList Editor

Purpose:

--------

To provide support for editing the CameraList of GIT Files, including Position and Orientation. These fields are normally corrupted by GFF Editor. This application assumes you are familiar with GIT files and the CameraList field.

How To Use:

-----------

Extract CamEdit.exe to wherever you want. You can drag a .git file onto CamEdit or launch it on its own. CamEdit is menu-driven. Type the number of the selection you wish to make. You have the following options:

1) Open Existing GIT <-- only option available unless GIT file is open

2) Edit Camera List

3) Save CameraList to text file

4) Import CameraList as GFF file

5) Export CameraList as GFF file

6) Save GIT File

7) Close GIT File

Other functions may appear listed as letters in green.

a) ADD a new CameraList entry

d) DELETE this Entry

g) GO BACK one level

x) Exit

The text menu header appears in yellow and displays the current file that is open. Below that in white is location of where you are in the menu structure.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Camera List
~~~~~~~~~~~

Option 2 dislpays the camera list structure of the current GIT file. This is a list of the camera structs, identified by CameraID. You can select a number from the list to get the details of the camera or you can add a new camera.

~~~~~~~~~~~
Cameras
~~~~~~~~~~~

Selecting a camera from the list will bring up the Camera menu, displaying the current properties for the selected camera. The properties for cameras are:

0) CameraID

1) Position

2) Orientation

3) FieldOfView

4) Height

5) Pitch

6) MicRange

Position is given as 3 values, X, Y, and Z whose units appear to be meters. Orientation is listed as 4 values whose units appear to be radians. You can select any property to edit it, or you choose to delete the selected camera altogether.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Output to Text File
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Option 3 from the main menu provides an easy way to make the entire CameraList readable.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Importing/Exporting CameraList as GFF file
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Option 4 and 5 provide a means of preserving the original cameralist data, allowing the user to use GFF Editor to modify other portions of the GIT file and then restore the original cameralist. The CameraList is saved in GFF format, but should not be opened by GFF Editor (it will corrupt the file if saved).

--tk102

It's all in the readme and the screen is pretty self-explanatory (don't be afraid to try by yourself - in case of doubt, make a backup of your file before trying).

1) Open original GIT file

2) Export CameraList as GFF file

3) Close

4) Open the .git file you edited

5) Import CameraList as GFF file

6) Save GIT File

7) Close GIT File

8) test your mod

Huh? what do you mean by "it won't let me save"? Could you be more precise? When there is an error message, pls post it and if not describe the problem in a complete manner. Otherwise we can't help. Try opening CAMedit with a command line.

NWNEditor is a GFF editor modified in it's appearance with a new name. Apart this and an improved copy/paste function, it is exactly the same and it has the same problems with Kotor as the other GFF editors.
