Evil Dark Jedi
If there is a rader i will turn it off because it will ruin the surprise if a few dozen rebels are waiting for you up ahead or a clone Gunship is right behind you about to shoot. It will also be kind of hard to team kill because the weapon doesnt auto aim for allies but it sort of helps lead you with enemies that are reallly close You know, not all of us are playing with consoles
GhostfacedKilla
Best put socom 2s radar is the best . with name of the guy whos talking to u on the bottom of the screen and their position displayed on ure radar, you couldnt get a better unique and genuine radar system. IF THEIR RADAR SHOWS ALL AND KNOWS ALL THE FOG OF WAR WILL BE RUINED.... AND If WE CANT DISABLE IT IN OUR GAMES I WILL NOT SPEND MY DOUGH ON SWBF, thats my 2 cents....
THE BADGER:
Identifying uniforms and vehicles according to faction is a sign of someone who paid attention to the movies, books and games. If you're unable to there's always Halo Do not insult my intelligence boy. I play SOCOM 2 and it tells you where your teammates are by there name in white above there heads. And when they talk to you there name appears on your screen along with there position in your radar. I have all the movies of Star Wars at my house and I have seen them, I know what to look for, however, when you are playing on line with 20 or so people on the battlefield it doesn't matter if they are white and my team is not. Everything will get confusing and thats when I get team killed. Everything tends to blend in after awhile. You need to see your teammate from distance not just up close. I need to know if it's my team that has control of the AT-ST or is it a enemy.etc......There are many circumstances that you need some other way to differentiate between sides other than skins. ShadoWraith
Originally posted by Doomgiver yeah, i hope radar can eb turned off too, since i like sniping and sneaking up on people... But if there are radars, well, people that played halo know they shoudl always keep their eyes on it! People that played lots of other games too, probably... agree, all seeing radar is a bad idea
Virtuosis
I agree with DallasDawg, SOCOM 2's radar and player identification system was ideal. It showed if a teammate is in the general direction your shooting at, and let you know who was on the mic so you could block all the mic hogs or vote them off. I think that would add more to the game than an all-seeing radar would.
Mountainforest
The radar and player identificatiosystem of battlefield is how it should be in my eyes. Indentifying players in this game is much easier, as americans and japanese have less similarityes than clones and droids. I like ff turned on best. People who want to ruin a game find aother way. In JKA Siege teammates sometimes run off with protocol droids or scepters (in the wrong direction), and if frindly fire is off, it's even worse because you can't kill the lamer to get back the object.
