Hesh
5 most important 1. Get Loyal/Good Co-Leaders 2. Tryout all members (friends 2) 3. Choose Clan Wars Carefully (dont overstep ur clans boundries) 4. Work on Teamwork during Public Rooms (dont just mess around) 5. Rep goes ^ with Wins not with Talk i played socom for a couple of years (strong clan base) so i know how 2 run and keep a clan the biggest reason for disbanded clans would be losing members after loss. dont let this get u down (it will happen) last point- must get down teamwork. u should use the buddy system 2 learn eachothers strengths/weakness GL

Virtuosis
You know its crazy I've played SOCOM since the beginning, and I've been in numerous clans while playing, and none of them except the one I'm in right now has lasted. The rest of them have fallen apart, because people weren't motivated. I think the best clans are the ones that really do know the members, the ones that just massively recruit people and never really meet them, they are the ones that lose interest after losing once. When you actually get to know the members it builds interest, it keeps em in there for the long run. If I ever start a clan, I won't be mass recruiting, only cool decent players! Of course I won't ever start a clan haha

boranchistanger
Not needed, let me get someone with real powers to merge this to your thread I merged some of what I felt was important into my guide and he posted all of his in a later post on my thread. No need for "someone with real powers." -Boran
Virtuosis
Yeah another thing I never thought it was all that important to choose your battles wisely. As long as no one talks crap, you might just learn something. Even if you get stomped it really can't be that bad of an experience.

Virtuosis
No where in that post did i talk any crap! But maybe my meaning wasn't clear. I just meant maybe if you play a bunch of really good players, than they can give you a few pointers if after the game you don't whine and talking trash to eachother. Sorry if it wasn't clear!! Even if you get stomped it really can't be that bad of an experience. after about 2 years of socom experience, i know reason for clans falling apart and disbanding.... ive seen hundreds of clans fall apart after a loss. ^^ main reason is people dont want 2 be in a losing clan.. its just something u have 2 deal with,i know u think now.. oh this clan will never disband my friends and i will keep it together no matter what.. not true. u will be very suprised at how pissed u get after a loss, especially when it seems like no 1 is trying. ive had super loyal players leave my clan because of loses.. its sucks but u have 2 move on and recruit new people(or disband). Choosing within ur skills is very important, u dont wanna get discouraged after u have lost 10 in a row.

boranchistanger
If a member quits after losing a match though then you really don't want that kind of member on your team anyway. I can understand losing almost all of your games, however quitting after a couple losses means you are a crappy member anyway. -Boran

Virtuosis
Damn, my clan in SOCOM must be pretty good than. We lose every once and a while, but no one ever crys about it, sure we get mad, but we get over it. I agree with Boran though. If a player leaves a clan because they lose, than they weren't worth it. Jeez, in socom I never know how good the clans we are playing against are, but thats half the fun...atleast to my clan and i...
Hesh
ever heard of GB? its alot different when u are playing on a ladder system. clan wars without a record/rank/community are not as fun socom2.gamebattles.com check it out
Virtuosis
Yeah my clan is on GB. It's been a while since I've played a match with it though. Most of the time we are just looking or some fun so we never really set up a GB match. But it definetly is a lot different than just challenging a clan out of the blue. Is there going to be Gamebattles for SW:BF?
Hesh
i sure hope so, thats really the only thing that kept we playin socom, if they dont have a good ladder for sw bf itll get boring quick.. socom was fun back in the day but people just complain now, so... what r u going 2 do. i hope that balance sw bf propely so theres no crazy strong guns that owns everything
Schetter
TWL (http://www.teamwarfare.com) has already said they will be supporting the game. I will be prodding CAL (http://www.caleague.com) to do so as well. The CAL is PC only, however TWL might provide some console support...
Virtuosis
I don't know man, I've never gotten bored of SOCOM, I've gotten frustrated, but never bored. There is always something fun to do in it. The people that complain are the rank up'ers the ones who think they are great because they have a good rank but they cant do anything when they get killed by a better player. Personally I don't think there are any superior weapons in SOCOM, just good players. Even if there are unbalanced weapons you just have to find ways to overcome them!
