PR-0927
Well, I have been experimenting with GIMP 2.0, and I don't know how to sperate layers... There is a Rebel symbol with a white background. The background and symbol are different layers, as I can delete them seperately...but, I can't pull out the Rebel symbol layer, and paste it somewhere else, without the ugly white background... How do you do it? I'd really appreciate an answer!! Thanx.
Alegis
throwing a quick catch on google, searching for seperate layers in the manual should solve the first one. Manual shortcut is mostly F1, ctrl-f to search(or F3)
PR-0927
Umm, LOL...no manual... This is a free downloadable program, by the way. If there is a manual...I can't find it...I looked everywhere!!
PR-0927
Heh, I figured it out. I just select certain sections...very easy. It had nothing to do with layers...
90SK
Thats what I love about gimp. You can make a really good skin and all you need to do is cut and paste. Here is an example of a skin I made by cutting and pasting components frm Ragnos, my Ajunta pall skin, the sabeteur, the new_reborn, and some others (cant remember what).
