KnightFxr2001
Hey all... This is my second force power mod, but first release (my first mod is still in the works). I decided to make a set of light force powers similar to the stealth skill (because who really uses that?), but that was more suited for a jedi. It allows the jedi to become invisible to enemies for 15 seconds. More effects are added with each new progression of the spell, and eventually the jedi will be able to attack while remaining unseen. Visuals are (in my opinion) much better than the bulky stealth field. Special thanks to tk102 and beancounter for their script troubleshooting! Spell descriptions are as follows: Invisibility Light Side Power Prerequisites: Character Level 7 Costs: 15 FP This power allows the jedi to become invisible to all hostile forces in the area for 15 seconds. However, any active attack outside of the force will alert the enemies to the jedi's presence, and the jedi will no longer be invisible. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Sanctuary Light Side Power Prerequisites: Character Level 11 Costs: 30 FP This power allows the jedi to become invisible to all hostile forces in the area for 15 seconds. However, any active attack outside of the force will alert the enemies to the jedi's presence, and the jedi will no longer be invisible. In addition to this, a regenerative field is cast which heals the jedi 5 HP every 2 seconds. This field will last as long as the jedi remains invisible. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Meditation Light Side Power Prerequisites: Character Level 15 Costs: 45 FP This power allows the jedi to become invisible to all hostile forces in the area for 15 seconds. For the duration of the spell, any active attack outside of the force will no longer alert the enemies to the jedi's presence. In addition to this, a regenerative field is cast which heals the jedi 10 HP every 3 seconds. I've included two versions to download. The first is just the mod itself, with the ncs, 2da, and icon files. That can be found here: http://www.pcgamemods.com/7069/ The second includes all that, PLUS a modified dialog.tlk file so that spell names and descriptions can be seen in game. It is a little over 1MB in size. Please back up your dialog.tlk first! That one is here: http://www.pcgamemods.com/7070/ All scripts are included in both downloads. If you notice any bugs that aren't noted in the readme, please respond or send me an E-mail so that I can fix them. Please read the README, and ENJOY!!!! T7nowhere
Sounds cool, and looks like a good balance. But.., can you make another version compatible with Dath333All-in-one force powers mod v.2.0.1 My thought is that many people use the AIO FP mod but don't know how to edit and combine the mods. No pressure though it's your choice. thanks for including the nss files.
Darth333
Good work! If you want I could update the AIOFPM and include your mod in the package to make things less confusing since force power mods require to edit the code as well.
KnightFxr2001
I have no problem updating the mod to include the AIO. Or if you prefer Darth333, since that is your mod, you are welcome to include mine into yours. Either way I'm game. Does anyone prefer a specific method??? Darth333
Well the AIOFPM is not only my mod: it regroups the mods of five authors already to whom I asked the permission to regroup their mods. I have put many hours combining all those new powers, inserting the items in the game, turning Darth Khasei's spawn ennemies on demand force powers into an armband and drafting the huge readme in html, etc. A task similar to what T7 did with the Holowan Plug-in but to a lesser extent. I think I would prefer and it would be easier to include your mod in there, if you don't have any problems.
KnightFxr2001
You're more than welcome to include my mods into your compilation. I appreciate being included with everyone else whose mods I use so much. But I feel like I must warn you... I have a couple more force power mods already in the works, and they should be released soon. I just don't want to inundate you with a lot of work. That said, have at it, and enjoy! KnightFxr2001
This is just a follow-up since I've had a fair amount of downloads so far. I'm curious to know people's thoughts on this mod. Is it balanced enough? Would you like to see anything changed? Are there any errors I haven't found yet that could be corrected? Any feedback would be very helpful. Thanks!
