Fearless_Jedi
Hey, would it be possible to make a mod that lets you can take away feat/skill/force power points every time you level so that they can be used for something else. For example: say you just made a new soldier class character and you didn’t want the armor feats so you just hit the remove button and get the feat points to be put in something you want. And you should be able to do this every time you level and also with force points and skill points too. Then if you screw up with your character somewhere all you need to do is wait one level and then fix it. If anyone thinks it can be done please tell me how I can do it. One other thing....I notice alot of these mods require you put the file in an override forlder.....problem is I cant find an override folder in my KotOR directory. Can someone explain this? Achilles
The feat progression appears to be part of the game engine, therefore it cannot be changed. The good news is that you can edit feats.2da to alter which feats each class starts with, as well as which feats are recommended and at what level. The bad news is that the process is somewhat involved (but by no mean impossible). As for your override folder; it should be there, however if it isn't you can just make one. I hope that helps
AlBundy
Try using search under "lucasarts" for "override" and if you cant find it then, I guess you could make a new override folder?

Yep, try checking C\Program Files\Lucasarts\SWKotOR and if there's no override folder there just make one.

Darkkender
Slightly off topic and yet not. If everybody who played a RPG weather via computer driven or Pen and paper, could make a change to there character by going back and erasing there mistake and choosing the path they think they should have done at a higher level. Then everybody would get bored with RPG's because one of the many points challenges and greatest funs is to actually learn from mistakes and next time you play to try to correct where you went wrong. Now if it is something like just not getting the bonus feats provided at a certain lvl such as the armor prof heavy armor that the soldier gets I would definetly go with Achilles advice below. Also Keep your eyes peeled for the future I and Jatku are rebuilding the character classes and feats/skills/powers to more closely resemble the actual Pen and Paper D20 Star Wars RPG. My contribution will be to correct the BAB and the number of attacks per round as well as correcting the skill pts per lvl problem that I've noticed. Other factors include adjusting feats and powers to more closely match there PNP siblings.
shosey
As far as changing what feats you have, I would use the savegame editor, you can get it in one of the stickeys. hope that helps you out!
