Iceman_IX Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 Multiple times now I've loaded the game via XFire. It always seems to 1) not connect to the server I tell it to (server times out, I go to server browser choose another one) and 2) crash at some point either in-game or out of game. Anyone else experience this? I have a list of recent/favorite servers and I have tried connecting to them. Connecting is growing more and more adjitating for me. I can barely play the game because it takes me ~5 minutes to find a game and the game I get into only lasts 5 minutes! Then the server crashes. But has anyone else had BF actually crash? Windows comes up and says "swbattlefront.exe has caused a fatal error" and it prompts me to close. Only crashes like this when I connect via XFire. Perhaps the server list is still updating in the background and memory leaking?
Alegis Posted September 26, 2004 Posted September 26, 2004 it's all the fault of the in game browser. Sometimes when i try to join then the buttons (back/cancel etc) are stuck for a second or two but thats all
