idle
It was a big mistake not giving Darth Maul at least another couple of scenes in my opinion. Too much politics and talking, since I remember GL saying the point of the OT was to run like you could put it on mute and still know what's going on- that's a pretty overlooked mistake in the prequels. I still accept them as part of the SW universe and absolutely despise people who constantly moan and complain about them but you can't deny they have serious flaws as Star Wars movies. warchild75
I've always wondered what TPM would be like if that stupid, screwed up, horribly insane, long toungued, ugly, stupid (I know I put stupid twice but it's so horribly stupid I had to put it on again), stinky, bad english speaking MORON Jar Jar Binka wasn't in TPM, would people like it more? I know I would! Anyway what do you guys think? *What sith_master2000 wants too do to Jar Jar Binks* MELT IT DOWN BLAST IT WITH A ROCKET LAUNCHER HACK AT IT WITH A CHAINSAW TORCH IT WITH A FLAMETHROWER BLAST IT WITH A CANNON Yes I'm happy now! coupes.
Did you really have to bump a 6 months old thread to say that ?
Kurgan
Actually I'm a bit glad he did. While his comment above didn't add anything we hadn't heard already, now we can finally see Jar Jar in light of the entire Saga. I think we can agree he was annoying. His small role in Episodes II and III wasn't bad. I wonder if Lucas actually had his role in the rise of the Empire planned or just made it that way to stick it to fans ("after all, without Jar Jar your precious classic trilogy would never have happened, so ha!"). Despite what George likes to say about having this all planned in advance, you can see him making things up as he goes along even back in the first trilogy, so it would not surprise me at all. I'm glad they didn't try to make Jar Jar the reason Anakin turned to the Dark Side, though I did read a hilarious send-up of just that thing happening in a Darth Holliday parody on soulofthejedi.com. Kurgan
Sorry, moved a post: 01-09-2005, 08:44 AM Jar-Jar was the one who gave emergency powers to the OT would have happened.
The Doctor
EDIT: Sorry for reviving an old thread. I'll check the last post's time next time. For some reason, I can't seem to delete this post, only edit it. Could a moderaotr delete my post for me? I know Insane Sith loves doing that, anyways....
