DarkFlame
I've seen tons of complaints about fast vehicles in small spaces, and I'm thinking, why not maps where infantry are on platforms connected by bridges or teleporters with tons of extra air space above, around, and even below for spaceships to fly? i honestly don't have the game yet, but something like this with the game's style could work grewat. and if bridges are used, there's the added fun of shooting ppl off them:p. bridges should be large enough for a few soldiers shoulder to shoulder or possibly a land vehicle. a cental platform branching out might work well. Iceman_IX
Good idea, but I don't know if teleportation could be worked into the mapping engine. There aren't any mapping utilities at the moment either...
LoQ
There are already two maps like that. One of them being Kamino, the other being one of the Bespin maps
Zerosaber
The Kamino one is funt but the Bespin map is one of the maps on top of my list.
Iceman_IX
I abhor Bespin. I'm an infantry guy, like terrain etc. to use. But using a tie fighter to just fly to the rebel CPs is kinda fun Bespin Platforms is a map like the guy was talking about. Lots of flying room and limited ground space. Actually when you think about it, Bespin Platforms also has limited air space as well. Try flying in a straight line for 5 seconds and you will be told you are leaving the battlefield
Iceman_IX
It's come to my attention that sometimes, when I am aiming at a starfighter with a rocket, it will begin going in a straight line and my aim goes blue isntead of red. Then all of a sudden my aim goes red and the control of the fighter goes more erratic. I guess this is the fighter coming back in from going out too far. Man that sucks. I prefer not to fly and i usually go to the other platforms/bases when I do.
insanellama
yeah there's barely any airspace but i still think fighting up in the air is fun...and using the vehicles to get to the opponents cp's on bespin gives you a good advantage as long as you blow them up before they can too
FishStix
yeah, bespin platforms is a cool map, i like fighting on the "limited" ground space and blow people off the bridge then fly around in the X-Wings and TIE Fighters...
