Battlefront expansion

anyone know if this will fix and improve the issues, maps, features that ppl are waiting for/hoping to be fixed? and any idea when its gonna come out/if its going to come out?

Well, before even thinking of releasing an expansion, I hope they intend to make the present game playable in multiplayer.

 

Anyway, usually an expansion is released for games which a certain degree of success in terms of critics and user feedback, which is not the case for Battlefront. The commercial success is only linked to the fact it's Star Wars and that we were promised Battlefield-like action.

 

But well, then, IF they did manage to make it a "fairly good" game with several dozens patch, then here are some ideas for an expansion:

 

- new maps, of course, which mean new planets.

 

- maybe a whole new era of play, like in the time of Knights of the Old Republic for example, or somewhen else from the expanded universe - that would give new vehicles, new armies, and so on.

 

Well let's dream a bit together ;o)

There has been no word on an expansion. So you'll just have to wait and see.

I don't see how a game that covers all non-EU things has any room for an expansion...

Except perhaps a bonus pack is in order?

I think they should have maps that take place in space. Capital ships can be the command centers and instead of having all pilots they can use troops as boarding parties to capture command points. Maybe make a few excpetion like making the battle of yavin and endor where the rebels have to destroy the death star but meh. That's ony an idea.
