khollar Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 Can anyone give me any suggestions for the use of Burst of Speed Force Power? Is it mainly for walking through the maps faster? Can it be used in combat? If so, how? I'm a Soldier/Guardian and since I have the Force Jump automatically, I see no need to get the Burst of Speed power, but maybe I'm missing something. Thanks for any suggestions.
Darth333 Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 It is one of the most useful powers and make sure you get knight speed and master speed. You get an ac increase and an attack bonus
Achilles Posted October 13, 2004 Posted October 13, 2004 The speed tree is one of the Force power trees that I always max out as quickly as possible, without fail. Burst of speed only increases your defense by two ( ), but Knight Speed doubles that (+4 to defense) and adds an additional attack to each round. Master Speed affords you 2 extra attacks per round which means that if you have Master Flurry and Master Two-Weapons Fighting you get 5 attacks per round (1 from each weapon, 1 from your feat, and 2 from your force power) +3 to defense.(!!!) Check out more about feat and force powers at http://gamebanshee.com/starwarskotor/ if you'd like to know more.
Grishnakh Posted October 14, 2004 Posted October 14, 2004 Or if you have master power attack it means 2 extra power attacks per round, master power attack adds 10 to damage on attacks, so if you're using dual or a doublebladed sabre you get 4 attacks plus 40 extra points of damage:)
*Yoinked* Posted October 21, 2004 Posted October 21, 2004 I believe it is a universal power, I might be wrong though... -Adam G.
