So I will soon be releasing my own custom recruit shortly. It will have some similarities and concepts that redhawke used in his recruit redhawke mod. Such as assigning who you can replace and cannot replace however it instead will be drove from a datapad that you can access from your belt like a stim pac or medpac. I have been diligently writing scripts for this on my own to test npc availability. Another neat feature is you can remove him at any time or when I finish him I plan to do a scripted exit at some point. if you want a looksee I should have one soon or you can see his robes here(disregard head)

Well I originally forecasted monday but I might actually have it up and available tonight or sunday. It all depends on how quickly I get access to my upload machine at home, since it used by many people not just myself. Right now it is going to be in alpha release I still have some sidequest stuff to write for him for his full version release. I have got to get the hang of sidequests.

I think I get what you're doing now, it's kind of like putting some party members on "hold" and then switching them with that datapad? Sort of like D333's spawnband thingy? If I'm right it sounds very cool. :)

basically it was part of the concept for my recruit manager project but instead it is actually a datapad from the belt which will place the character and remove at a whim. D333's spawning armband were my original inspiration. but I have since wrote my own scripts that do pretty much the same thing. I have also taken inspiration from redhawke in having the ability to choose who you replace. I figure this is a natural progression to be able to choose to remove your recruit and return the original npc. I actually intend to release the recruit pad as it own seperate mod template that anybody wanting to release a recruit can use.

So I am going to be developing a batch of droid recruits for release here soon what I could really use is some skins for HK and for T3 so my variants on them can look unique. Also if anybody would like to try there hand at making textures of any of the other droid types I would really apreciate it.

So I have released a six pack of new grenades at pcgamemods they are creature grenades you have to use the cheat giveitem command to get them though because some of these guys are tough. You'll find a tach, krayt dragon, rancor, terentanak, mykal, and tukata just waiting to get themselves given to you and summonened. I made this mod compatible with my recruit darkkender mod all you need to do is overwrite the spells.2da file.
