jon_hill987 Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 I'm from the UK and never saw it, I'm guessing it was shown on a show like "Tarrent on TV" but the BBC's version of it. Tarrent on TV showed loads of strange adds from around the world.
Leper Messiah Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 Australia's Favorite Chicken is a tagline that could well have been used in a British advertising campaign as such taglines are used for other countrys food as well Italian, American etc
El Sitherino Posted January 23, 2005 Posted January 23, 2005 I indeed saw it on BBCA as they tend to show commercials from the UK, Australia, and Canada (and a few other places I can't remember right now) About Australias favourite chicken, that's just a slogan, they have that here on crap they make here. Rebotteled wine they often say "Made fresh in the lands of Australia" or something like that. It's mostly a marketting device, regardless of origin or selling point.
