Cloud333
I believe I have mentioned this somewhere before but the two credits files(57.wav credits.wav) are somehow different. I have bin trying to decompress them for a while now with sevral audio editors and had no success. It's possible to play them in miles but whenever they are decompressed everything freezes, or the files simply don't work. Does anyone have any insight on how to decompress these 2 files? Leviathan
Where do your 2 sound files come from ? SW : KotOR I or SW : KotOR II The Sith Lords ? I could "study" these 2 Wave files if you send them to me ... If you agree, I would transmit my e-mail address to you using LucasForums' Private Messaging. So, I await your answer ... Cloud333
The 2 sound files come from Kotor I. They are under stream music(its the two files that play during the credits, 57.wav is the one that starts at the endgame cutscene and then the credits). If you don't have the game installed I could send them to you if you like.
Darth333
I did it: I used decompress with Miles sound studio and then opened it with goldwave and doubled the speed and resaved...I would attach it here but the file is huuuuge!
Leviathan
I've SW : KotOR I installed on my computer, so you do not have to send me these two "suspect" sound files... I'll work on them when I have time... But Darth333 seems to have taken advance... Darth333, what's exactly the size of 57.wav and credits.wav once decompressed and modified using GoldWave ? 10 Ta ? One day, I've seen a software which is able to send unlimited-size attached-files in an e-mail simply using your favourite messaging software (Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, ...) while this "miracle" program is launched. With it, there are no size-restrictions and the two decompressed sound files would be transfered using it. The only problem is that I've forgotten its name ... Darth333
I didn't bothered too much with packing the files (uncompressed it's about 28MB) : if he follows the above steps, there is no need to send the files. It takes less than a minute to do.
