Dar
Well using the KSE 2.2.0 I can edit some things in my TSL saves but other things it won't as it doesn't understand them. I can edit items I already have but I cannot add items. Feats and Powers are tricky, it shows some but not all, so I am leaving those alone for now. Also a humble sugguestion, have it show the Influence rating you have with that NPC. Other than those, I have no problems using it with TSL. So hopefully it will not take long to update the KSE to KSE: TSL. If you need a listing of the file structure or files themselves, just PM me and I will do my best to help. tk102
Hello, if you extract the following .2da files and put them in the TSL override, KSE should handle them pretty well: spells.2da appearance.2da portraits.2da soundset.2da (I guess feats.2da isn't normally in the override so I must not have coded for that one... Same with classes.2da ) Edit: You may have to fool KSE v2.20 by putting the said files and savegames in the KotOR Override and Saves directories. Or if you don't have KotOR, KSE will let you browse for your TSL folder and things should be fine.
Dar
Hmm well tried that, with the PC and returning NPC's, it works fine, with the new npcs you can't edit skills and sometimes feats. It gives errors. One of the first is: 'Error msg: element "#000012 - Game11#Feats#Feat# already exist at /PerlApp/Tk.pm line 247' What that means....ummm no idea. tk102
It means that feat.2da is different in TSL and the a Feat your character has is outside the KotOR1 range. But fear not, KSE will ready soon.

Dar
I placed the program in my Kotor2 save file then ran it, it asked for the directory, where Kotor was installed, I directed it to the Kotor2 directory and it loaded from there. Bobo
it is possible to use Kotor Savegame Editor for Kotor2 i did it myself first go into the Kotor2 directory and select the save game. then cut it, and go to the Kotor1 Directory. rename it to the latest savegame. remember the first numbers are one higher then the actual savegame number then open KSE, and open the last file, it is the kotor2 Savegame. you can edit attributes, skills, credits, exp name, all that stuff you can also try feats and powers but only the old ones The only things i tested that crashed KSE were Inventory and NPC editing. after you finish replace the kotor2 savegame back into the kotor2 directory Known problems: The light/dark standing with party members go insane lol! i havnt fixed it yet but they just randomly go to light or dark. its better then cheats but i still want my turbo cheat --Bobo
Darth333
We have already quite a few similar threads on this topic: Edit tk102: Merged multiple threads Yes it is possible but some features won't work. If you want the Savegame editor to be released for TSL asp, then don't hesitate to bribe, taunt, flatter, beg or threaten tk102 (If you chose bribery, I know from experience that chocolate cakes work well but not melba toasts). aluuannn
i found out if you extract the item you want to be added with kotor1 tool then extract to the tsl override folder then use kse to add it to your inv it will work this way.
Dar
Interesting....a lot of work but thanks for the info. As to bribery, well I've never been good at that. You would thing having worked on Captial Hill that I would be alas, that's one 'social' skill I did not acquire. I will simply go on faith that tk102 is hard at work getting the KSE updated to be TSL compliant. Edit tk102: I'll take that as Flattery. Well....that and I am broke and currently at home on medical leave due to a foot injury. Hey tk102, is it possible instead of using + and - to change inventory amounts it can be set up to enter the amount? Hey I had a thought. Yeah I know, a minor miracle there in itself, but has anyone found where influence is kept? I think it's a global setting but I have not found it yet. If someone has, could they post it here, please? LinkDeath
Just wondering if its just me but... When I try to use KSE it says "Could not find saves directory in installation path", it has a button that says "OK". If I press that button the program closes and never gives me a chance to choose path. Is that normal? Or am I just having my normal luck? Edit: spelling
Dar
Do you have Kotor installed? If you do, I dunno as I do not have Kotor installed and it ask for the directory so I direct it to Kotor2 directory and it works.
