My latest mod will allow you to build the various kinds of lightsabers at the workbench and I even ported over my Guardian of the Force lightsabers. To make this more fun and difficult the option to build a lightsaber does not appear untill you reach 10th level. That and it requires you to have a high persuade skill to build them. I have already finished the mod and will post it later I would just like a final go ahead from Redhawke, as it uses the itemcreate.2da & itemcreatemira.2da from his robes workbench mod. Even though that is all his mod consisted of. P.S. Redhawke if you put a level # in the level column it will keep the item from showing up on the workbench untill you are that level. You sure can, my mod was just to fix something I saw missing, I have no problem with people using it as a base for their mods, just throw me some credit, and I'll be happy! Also I so do love automatic compatability! As far as the level to build sabers goes, I pondered this last night and I would set the level to 15, as that is the level the Pr. Classes open up, you shouldn't need to build sabers until that point... As much as I griped about waiting for a saber in TSL, after playing it a half a dozen times, I now see the logic in the wait. Mav Posted February 17, 2005 Share Posted February 17, 2005 I agree with RedHawke, I think level 15 would be an appropriate level for building a lightsaber, also I think we all should try as best we can to keep the "easy" .2da files to be as compatible as possible, what I mean by "easy" is the .2da files whose row number have nothing to do with any other files i.e. the .uti files. I actually have plans to build a few more sabers so in the next release I will have everything tweaked. This way we can also see what other feedback there is. I most definetley agree about the compatibility issue of the simple 2da files as it saves headaches in the longrun and makes us all seem like a community.
