T7nowhere
Very much so, There are differences with certain things But primarily if you learn how to mod one game it won't take much to figure out how to mod the other.
Darth Sebastian
One thing that i recently learned was different, is that we can't decompile and recompile TSL models just yet.

That's correct cchargin has made it very clear to all here that he has not had a chance to sit down and breakdown the model format for TSL. However if all you are trying to do is add a new saber color or skin texture to your saber you can hex edit the mdl file. This has been the long standing factor for the format. We just aren't able to import new models into TSL. On a side note it was just within the month prior to the release of TSL for x-box that mdlops was able to import new models into KOTOR 1. So in perspective waiting a few months on this for TSL should be easy for people as most of the veteran model modders know that it took them more than a year before they were able to import models into KOTOR 1.
