scripting syntax question

how the puck do you compare strings can you use the == or is it like strcomp or what ever the c++ function is and where do you find the modual names I'm trying to make it so you can get the handmaiden with a female character and not get disciple later on

I'm a programmer and I know that all that stuff is quiet accurate but when comparing 2 strings there is a different way of dooing it and it is not on that thread thats the only reason i ask

FYI you can use the == to compare strings.

AFAIK, that's not case sensitive ("hello" is the same as "HeLLo")
