MyPonyJim
*shuffles in, looking slightly embarassed* This is just about the most basic question I could possibly be asking, but: After you export the texture you want to alter into Photoshop and, well, alter it - how do you import it back into the game directory so that you can use it? I'm just wanting to replace one of the character faces with a slightly altered skin - not make an entirely new one. Much thanks in advance to anyone who can help lessen my ignorance. ^_^
Darkkender
You just save the file in the TGA format and place the file into your overide folder for kotor 1 &
MyPonyJim
"Override folder"? Is that something that already exists or something I need to create?
Xcom
Could be either way depending on the version of your game. If it doesn't exist simply create it in your KOTOR2 installation directory. You then will be putting all modified files in: ..KOTOR2\Override\
General Kenobi
Hey man, In answer to your question... After you make your changes to your .tga file you opened just do a "File/Save" if it asks you for format options just click "OK." Then go to where you saved it at (say desktop). Open your "My Computer" and then if you installed the game to your "C: drive" go to: C:\Program Files\LucasArts\SWKotOR2 Inside of the SWKotOR2 folder right click and make a new folder and call it "Override" Then copy or move your file from your desktop (or where ever) into that Override folder you just created. As long as you didn't mess with the name of the file it should be named correctly to replace the "in-game" file you want. Hope that helps man... MyPonyJim
Thanks to all for your quick replies. Now that I've got the Override folder made, everything works fine.
