no, it will be from in game... actually could you tell me how to make a snapshot in game?

 

But I realize that from in the modeling studio is no good... btw I am using 3DSmax 5... most of the tuts. are for gmax, thats one of the reasons I am having so much trouble!

I thought I was strange when I spent a good chunk of time working on a mod late into the night. I also thought I was wierd when it took me a long time to do a mod that I thought would be much easier.

 

It turns out every other modder is like that to though ;)

well its finally in the game and working, still needs a graphic mapped onto it and the body is a little to large. but it is in and working and thats a great start... may have some more Q's tomorrow about a implant I am trying to make... gonna try to make it work on my own first.

 

of course its going to be a tricky one I think... if I can get it working I will be releasing my first pack after the handle gets a map!

 

edit:OH BOY

when I go to upgrade the LS with a workbench it disappears??? everything else about it is fine... what did I goof up?

 

edit:OK let me make sure I am clear, all I want this sabre to do is to (though having unique properties itself) use the standard crystals in game. Is this possible.

I am trying to make a implant that gives you the skills with a LS, and the one I made works except when you leave an area ie go through a door, the LS automatically unequips... any ideas?

 

please use the edit function(when you can) instead of bumping the thread .

I don't know about modeling, but this one I know...

 

Just putting an Armor or Weapon Feat on an implant, or any of the other worn items, when your actual PC does not have the said feat themselves, this will cause the weapon or even armor to become unequipped during area transitions... like if you put the Lightsaber Feat on an implant, it allows you to equip a saber, but the saber will unequip every time the game loads a new level until you have the LS Feat yourself.

 

There is no workaround short of using KSE and edit your character, or editing feats.2da to grant your PC the armor/weapon feats you want in the beginning of the game.

thanks Redhawke for the help on the implant... figured as much actually.

 

now could someone point me on the right track for this sabre problem... I mean I could make a unique blade for it but I would prefere it just use the standard color crystals and produce those hues. in other words effectivly a normal lightsabre.
