Ockniel
they've just changed starwars.com's main page to a flash page. Its has a few navigational buttons on the front of a ep3 background. It's not like one of their normal redirect ads, this is the real site. Is it going to stay this way? What do you thinkof it? I hate it. blegh. Derc
Well, since it's only the main page and not the entire site, it's not a big deal. Just click on a navigation button and you're back to the old format.
kevinbass4
Its just a promotion for episode 3 ROTS, it'll probably be off in a short while after the movie has come off of the big screen.
Ockniel
well by then starwars.com won't have much to show anyways, except for whatever books come out, oh, and the T.V. series

General Kenobi
Hee hee hee TV Series The cartoon is as close as we will EVER get to that happening. As we all know once you go TV that's the end of an actor/actress' Hollywood days. I'd say the same goes for a movie. I can think of only one exception to that rule. Stargate SG-1 VERY long running show, BUT with good plot lines and stories. I think the ideas would run out VERY quickly unless they went straight for post ROTJ type stuff. Ockniel
they said if there was a tv series, it would be completely CG, so I don't think they should worry about the actors
guybroom
what about motion capture? It could have the actors acting but have it CG
Kurgan
Now apparently they're having a CG Lego Wars series. Is that the long rumored TV series they've been talking about? Or just one of them?
General Kenobi
@Kurgan Man I'm tying to know that answer as well. There is a real TV show talked about though. The premise for a really good series like "Star Wars The Skywalker Counsil Years" or some such crap would be really cool. We could watch Jedi DeSann part from the jedi order and train Tavion. OR "Star Wars-- The War of Exar Kun"--then that could spin off to "the cleanup effort" and just follow history. aah the things they could do OFF TOPIC A BIT: For those of you who haven't seen the preview trailer for Star Wars Revelations you don't know what your missing

Patomon5
Guybroom, Star wars revelations is an independant film. It takes place in the star wars universe definately before ROTJ. Just do a search for star wars revelations and you should be able to find it. or go to ifilms.com. Hope you enjoy it.

Kurgan
Originally posted by Chase Windu I recently downloaded Revelations but haven't watched it yet. Is it any good? If you spent all that time downloading it, just watch it! It takes less time to watch than it did to download, then you can make up your own mind! I don't download a 200+ meg file and then just ignore it, if it's just something I plop down and watch. As far as fan films go, I'd say it's average, but the production values put most Fan Films to shame (you can see the time and money they spent on it).
