Captivus
I've just thought of changing Exiles clothes - but unfortunately I don't know how.,,, I've looked at "attons jacket" mod (that lets the main character to wear attons clothes) and there was apperace.2da and some " .uti " file (a_light_x07.uti). I figured that to change the Exiles clothes I have to do something with apperance.2da so I used KotorTool and .... well nothing. I have copletely no idea what each table does (I guess they say what models and textures are used by which character? ) Whats more I dont even know what is PC characters "name" . Only thing I've recognised are party_npc_Bao-Dur , party_npc_Mira , party_npc_Atris (!!!) etc. Can anyone help? PS. I looked in the .2da section here (I mean - Holowan Laboratories) it seems there is nothing that could help.....
boinga1
You could do a forum search... Anyways, the player heads are a long way down, but they all start with "p_mal" or "p_fem". I believe the columns for modela and texa edit the players clothes.

Only thing I've recognised are party_npc_Bao-Dur , party_npc_Mira , party_npc_Atris (!!!) etc. Look at this thread , some of it is explained there. To add to what was written there, I believe the numeric identifier in the label of the different Player appearances (i.e. 05 in "P_FEM_C_MED_05") are the same as the order they appear on the portrait selection screen during character creation. Also, some of the other columns are: modela/texa = underwear model. modelb/texb = common clothes model. modeli/texi = new jedi robes. modelk/texk = new jumpsuit-like baggy armor. modell/texl = the silly dancer's outfit. modelm/texm = neophyte/mentor/warrior armor with skirt flap in the back. modeln/texn = new jedi master robes with jackboots. Note that the texture name in the texb field should be the same as the texture file name but without any numerical suffix, if any exist. The numbers at the end are used as identifiers for models with variant textures. Which texture variant to use is set in the UTI file for each armor/clothing. For example, if you look at the textures for the model N_SithComM in the game, you'll see that there are three files named N_SithComM01.tpc, N_SithComM02.tpc, N_SithComM03.tpc. To use this texture you just set "N_SithComM" in the texb field in appearances.2da. The 01, 02 and 03 part is set in the TextureVariation field of the UTI blueprint for the clothes item. Are you just wanting to change the player's clothes model? ie - the Atton Jacket you mentioned If so, you'll need to change the modelb & texb column entries of your PC. your player's appearance.2da row is defined in Rows 91-180 (depending on the gender, class and head you chose in "Character Creation"...) This post: http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=126482 can help you decipher what all the PMxxxx entries mean... EDIT: just previewed my post and saw stoffe -mkb-'s post, he's right about the texture variation
