[WIP] XL's NPC Reskins

First off, I want to say how amazing this modding community is. I, in an attempt to do something productive, have decided to try my luck with it aswell. I'm going to start out simple with NPC reskins. I hope all of you enjoy them. If I can improve on anything, please let me know and I'll try to make it better.

**Note: The Kreia Reskin is the Darth Traya look from the game, so I cannot take credit for actually doing the skin. I just wanted to make it usable by the public.

 

Any comments or suggestions will be greatly appreciated. I'll try to update this post as I reskin more NPCs.

looks good for a darkside thing but add some color lol. Like Red. red is nice.

I was kind of going for a theme. I guess you are right. Hmph. *Goes off to make a red Hanharr*

The disciple especially is too dark I think, I can't see very much in the screenshot. If the background was lighter, I might be able to see it better. Looks good!

Thank you all for the nice comments. I'll try to get lighter screenshots today for some of the darker ones.

 

For an update, right now I am working on a pink haired Handmaiden. (Now she really shouldn't look like her echani sisters when you turn her to the darkside.)

Shoot, your about five seconds too late. I just posted all of the reskins. I should have given her some eyeshadow. >(

 

I tried changing Mira's Eyeshadow around. Maybe you'll enjoy that.

 

Also, I lightened all of the old, dark screenshots. You should be able to see them better.

They seem a little too "modern" for me, too bright/ too different from the originals for me to still relate to those characters Good reskins, but definently not my style.

I will probably do a Bao-Dur reskin when I have time. (I was working on one, but it sucked.)

 

I think I might just leave Atton's reskin alone. Darth Melignous's Echani Atton is way better than anything I could pull out of my hat, so if you wanted an Atton reskin to make your Reskinned NPC set complete, I'd refer you there.

Hmm possibly make Bao-Dur without a repolser arm. make it just the hand. i dont know how you would do that....

 

i had an idea for a "Before the war" Bao-Dur... maybe ill go suggest it in the Mod Requests.

 

The Hanharr is suiting.

 

i had a question, the Kreia reskin looks alot like the regular old Kreia. Maybe put some nice designs and pattersn on her cloak? just an idea

I made a new Kreia reskin for those of you who didn't want Kreia to look the same the entire game. I call it her "Medic" look because of the white and red color pattern.

 

Also, it's a nice reskin for those of you who wanted a more "Lightsided" look to Kreia.

Ok, I'm going to update everyone on what I'm currently working on in the NPC department.

 

Since most of my NPC reskins were basically directed toward the darkside, I am going to make more lightsidish reskins and put them all together in a download.

 

As an added bonus, I'm going to try and reskin various people/aliens you meet throughout the game. I will only post screenshots of the major characters in the sorry. (For example, I reskinned Luxa, but I won't post a screenshot of her reskin because she isn't someone you will see throughout the whole game. Now, on the other hand, I will post Sion's reskin, because he is a major character.) I will post all of these extras with the lightside reskins.

 

Think of the ones that I don't post screenshots of as easter eggs. I'll include them all in their own seperate folder so it will be easy for you to delete the ones that you don't like.

Sorry Bobo can't Bao-Dur is a "funky" model and so far no ones found a way to get rid of that arm.

 

HEY, we should just be glad we don't have to stop trekking through Dxun's forests to track down a power outlet so he can recharge hmmmm.... maybe he uses Duracell

 

The reskins I like pretty good. I'm a fan of color splashes on skins/models so their not my taste but still good job.

Yeah, I get a little carried away with my dark colors. I, ironically, am not a fan of big bright frilly colors. Although, I am trying to make this lightside mod full of colors.

I know you guys are probably getting tired of all my reskins, so I'll try not to do anymore anytime soon. I guess I only attempted reskins because they were the easiest thing to do. Now I have to start learning how to really mod.
